WINTER SMALL GROUPS
Beginning the week of Jan 26The purpose of a discipline is freedom. If you want to be an expert at something, you have to be disciplined. Musicians practice boring scales and learn music theory out of discipline, but not just for the sake of doing it. It is a means to an end. Scales may not be fun, but once you’ve learned them, you have freedom to make beautiful music that is much more creative. Discipline is for freedom, and we're so excited to have the opportunity as a church community to learn about 'Spiritual Disciplines'. These are time-honored and Biblical practices that can help us grow, both in our understanding and in our freedom as Christians. We strongly encourage you to commit to joining a small group session this Winter. It will be one of the best habits you can begin the year with. Groups will begin meeting the end of January, and signups are open now! Check out the opportunities on the table in the lobby! |
