The Cloud
Unprecedented. That word seems to describe contemporary life, doesn't it? These days, we are navigating any number of new and unusual challenges as followers of Jesus. However, even in new seasons and dramatic changes, the enduring truth of Scripture continues to envelop and instruct our lives. In The Cloud, we are studying the lives of the faithful examples listed in Hebrews chapter 11; we are studying timeless patterns of faithful life.

We'll be coupling this series with small group studies (both online and in-person), and some video testimonies of Daybreakers as well. It's true: we are surrounded by a cloud, but not a cloud of uncertainty and doubt, but a cloud of witnesses whose stories encourage and inspire . . .

Service Details

Late Service at Daybreak
This service is designed to mirror our traditional, pre-covid, services as much as possible.  While still carefully adhering to the standards laid out by the CDC, and by our local government, we will be worship through singing, offer Sunday School for ages 2-5, and we will make a space for a certain amount of fellowship (while maintaining mask-wearing and social-distancing.

Here are the details:
  • 10:30-12 at Daybreak Church
  • Thoughtful application of safety measures:
    • Limited to 50% of building capacity to maintain standard social distancing guidelines.
    • Masks worn by everyone, with the following exceptions: worship leaders may remove their masks while singing, the preacher may remove their mask while sharing the message, and children under 5.
  • A satellite viewing room that is isolated from the main sanctuary, which will give individuals or families a chance to participate in service, while having a little more separation from others.
  • A nursery is available, with a live audio and video feed from the sanctuary, in case families have need of it.
  • Seating is assigned, based on reservations.  This way we are able to stay relatively isolated even while in the same sanctuary together.
  • Come expecting to experience the presence of the Lord; expecting to study Scripture together; expecting to worship through singing, giving, prayer and study.
