​​Putting aside differences

      I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ ‭

      We share many similarities. As creations of God, when we look at each other, we’re essentially seeing the image of God. Not only are we made in his image, but we’re also made in his likeness, carrying many of his attributes, just as a child inherits traits from their parents.

      The apostle Paul emphasized that everyone has sinned and falls short of God’s glory. However, we’re all invited to join the family of God. By accepting Jesus, we establish a connection with God. Sin separates us from Him, but through Jesus, we’re made righteous and can boldly approach God’s throne.

      Furthermore, we’re now connected to one another, recognized as brothers and sisters in the kingdom of heaven, sons and daughters of God. It’s natural to have disagreements, but true spiritual maturity lies in the ability to work together despite differences.

      God loves all of us, regardless of our differences. His love is unconditional and constant, encompassing us when we follow Jesus, even before we knew Him. God loves those who don’t follow Him because He loves all people, embodying the essence of love.

      When we follow Jesus, we must love as He loves, without prejudice or judgment. By transcending our disagreements and embracing diversity, we can open ourselves to those who differ from us. In this way, God can utilize us for His will and purpose in various situations.
